Capturing Critters in Lembeh is just under a month away! We have a great event planned and are excited to dive with you and learn with you!

If you haven’t already filled out the Pre-Trip Survey, please do so now. The more we know about you, the better we can prepare our class schedule to focus on your specific needs.

Is your computer ready for travel?

Now is the time to do a little housekeeping on your laptop. Waiting until you’re on location will only eat into your learning or diving time. Make time now to verify your laptop is running smoothly and you have all software and hardware required for the training sessions. Download and Install before you leave home.

Our seminars will focus on Lightroom Classic CC 12.0 for still photography, and Adobe Premiere Rush for video. We’re also happy to assist with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2023 during office hours. We will also demonstrate a few features from Adobe Photoshop CC 2023.

Not sure what to bring? Here’s a comprehensive UW Photography packing list you can reference. You may not need all of these items on every trip, but go through it and double check whether you have everything you think you’ll need for your specific trip requirements.

You wouldn’t want someone using your underwater image(s) without your permission, would you?
We feel the same way about using music in your videos.
We highly recommend that you only use music for your video soundtracks that you have permission to use. The great news is that there are many free resources available on the Internet to download music for use in your videos.
Here are a few music resources*:

* Please be sure that you are searching for music you are allowed to use based on the license provided within Creative Commons.
Some of the music on these Web sites may not be permitted for your use. Most of the licensing rules state that you must simply give the artist credit. You can put their name and title of the music track at the end of your video. We are not responsible for any improper use of the music from the external links above. We are simply providing you with a few resources that we’ve found are helpful to enhance videos with legitimate music.

Looking forward to seeing you at Capturing Critters in Lembeh January 2023!
